We made it to santa cruze island! We are anchoring in a cove called smugglers cove, It is are first anchorage of this trip! It went surprisingly well... We put the anchore down and it stayed there! There's not much else you can ask for... All the kids are acting better and Samir cut her I lid a little bit. But other than that it is awesome the soller panama are kicking butt with giving us pover, and we are leaning how to beach the dingy with big waves... We almost flipped yesterday and everyone got wet. We don't have much service... So dad... It's not like I'm avoiding you, I just don't have service!!! And your probably going to respond with something like, "why didn't you blog yesterday and the day before that! I want to know what's going on!" And I would respond with something like " I know dad! I'm sorry! I have been busy with having fun and enjoying my life on the boat!"

Now for what we are doing today. We are going to climb to the top of the mountains on the island that we are achoring next to! I'm excited!.

Well... I could die tomorrow and still know that I saw something that most humans on this planet have never seen and will never see. What is it you may ask? What did you see you might say? Well I’ll tell you what I say. It was earlier this morning, we pulled up the anchor and started to head out of our nice calm anchorage and started to head to LA! About 2 hours after leaving we saw some dolphins... not much but a good sized pod. They were swimming at our bow and playing in our wake, but wait! There’s more! We lifted out heads to only the sight of fins! There were more than 150 dolphins jumping in the air! I still don’t believe my eyes but I know it happened! It was the most exhilarating sight I have ever seen!!! I will never forget it, but my favorite part was witnessing a mother teaching her baby how to surface for air. Belly to belly the mom would push the baby straight out of the water. Another awesome thing to witness while the dolphins were under the boat was hearing them click and squeal to each other.

While that was awesome I had a few other exciting experiences. the day before yesterday we were launching Bmo (our inflatable dingy) from a beach with good sized waves we saw a seal playing in the surf and as we were pushing Bmo out into the calm surf, or so we thought, a wave came out of nowhere and that seal came within my arms reach and then darted off, my mom who was the one to saw it all said his head was at my head level coming out of the curling wave as it hit us... I wish I saw it... but it was still cool. the next day we went exploring with Bmo and we found a beach that Sam just needed to play on so we cowboy-ed up and went for it... did I mention that the waves were curling at the very last minute and the beach was all rocks and scary... if we messed it up we all could have gotten hurt. So as soon as we landed we waited for calm and pushed the boat out with Marcus and the kids on it to ensure there safety and me and my mom swam out to Bmo after they were out of harm’s way. Adrenalin was at a crucial, 100%

Benny and Marcus have returned!!!!! It great to have them back. It has only been 4 day but it seems like a lot longer. They were at a YMCA camp with a bunch of his friends from school! I looks and sounds like they had a lot of fun. We all just got done with our family movie and we are saying good bye to Santa Barbra. Tomorrow we are going to leave and get to the Chanel islands. I am ready to move on because I have been here for 9 days! So I'm excited to get going. Well I also remebered why eating out with the family is kinda hard. With the Ben Sam combo it is really hard to enjoy being in public, but then what kids are good in public the weather over here is awesome and I'm enjoying it so much. See you guys in Seattle soon.

Another successful movie night with the family, we watched the best Disney movie of all times! The Lion King!!!! Every time I watch it, it gets better. My mom just informed my about the second movie and I might watch that soon. Any who, I am doing a science project right know for school, it is support to show pigment in leaves. Any way it will take 3 hours to finish so it’s going to be a late night. On a different note the wind here is crazy! It was blowing like crazy in one direction and 5 minutes later the wind switches 180°!!! I really don’t understand how it does it but it does.
Today we did all the laundry on the boat and now everything is clean. Ii still haven’t put away my cloths but that’s on the agenda.  We also tried to exchange or empty propane tank and it turns out we can only refill it, but not at that location, so we need to find a place where we can refill it so we can cook things… like we did today, we had mashed potatoes and kielbasa. It was an interesting combination but it worked out.
My neck and back stopped hurting and I’m feeling great.

the night is winding down to an end and the wind is howling and whistling in between the masts of the sail boats around us, my mom, Sam and I just got done with watching Tarzan and 2 episodes of the penguins of Madagascar, they are getting ready to go to bed right now. I finished all my school stuff and am also getting ready for bed... I had a really bad night last night and I hope I have a better one tonight. I just got into a new series... bleach... I am kind of addicted and can’t stop reading it online. I am also dealing with some weird aches and pain in my back and neck... I know where it comes from, it comes from me being too tall to live on a boat... so I decided about a half hour ago that I would spend the least possible time down below. I have been spending way too much time inside reading and I am going to be outside more, tomorrow we are going to go and get some more propane for the boat and also get some school supplies. I’m very eager to come back to Seattle and I can’t wait to see every one up there.

I’m righting this blog right now because I want to keep everyone up to date on what is happening with me and this adventure, I am having a lot of fun and can’t grasp what I’m doing yet... I still feel like I’m on summer break... nothing has bean going on for now but i going to post more since i have more free time

we are in Morro bay to nigh and we are debating whether or not we are going to stay for a little bit or just head out soon, I would be happy with both! I’m starting to get used to not really having a place to stay... it feels kind of cool, it’s as if I was living in some type of dream... I just finished my first book of the trip, I started it 4 days ago and I’m starting the second book in the trilogy tonight... it’s the wrinkle in time trilogy... it’s a fun read and I’m enjoying it. please wright book suggestions in the comments down below, now more about Morro bay, it’s a really cool and the yacht club we are staying at is very nice... the best internet we've had in a long time.... it is also a very nice facility with decent restrooms and a good deck for us to relax on.... but there are flies. Not as many as half moon bay, but still, they are soo annoying!!!!!!!!!! But I have made up a new way to kill these small black beasts!!! First to blow on them so they try to hold on to you then when they are holding on you smack them with you hand then you roll your hand away to make sure that they are dead, finally you pick up the dead fly, now read closely! You throw it at your brother, and try to make sure he is watching or hit him in the face, it is a guaranteed laugh!!! I also got a Rasta poncho from a store up here!!!! And fed a sea lion!!! I also saw some cool looking octopuses which made my day.

The princess strikes again.

We were supposed to leave this morning... And we did until we realized that our alternator was not working... So we turned the boat around... I had already said my good byes and was very tired! So I really didn't want to do anything today! But we did. We got back and went swimming, it was fun but not what I wanted, then we went to a fair. It kinda sucked... But while I was there I stopped by McDonald's and picked up a McGangbang.... Probs the best part of today.... Then we got back and I've been addicted to my phone all day... Here is my report on our crew...
Ben=drama queen, but I love him for it
Me=antisocial geek, but I got a lot done in my games
Mom=wounded selfless person, she has had a horrible head ache for a long time
Marcus= drill Sargent, in a good way... Fixed the problem and helped mom with getting better... Very stocked though
And that is my report. Ill be doing this more often just so I can look at why they did what they did and to help me to look at the good... All in all today kinda sucked and was full of let downs....
See you guys latter! Call me if you guys want to know more!

Getting ready for our trip coming up soon, everyone is a little stressed out… not much has happened today… just posting to keep the habit. Its days like this that make me tired, can’t wait to go up to the pool and relax…. Watch a movie in the shade and just relax with some internet before it’s all gone. I’ll upload some photos to this blog of my splicing. I thought it was really good for my first time. I had a little fun with the wiping… it doesn’t look as pretty as I tried to make it, but it’ll do

Yesterday.

I have always wonder how spliced lines become spliced, just how I wondered  how my uncle did magic. Well I finally figured it out! To start. My uncle did not do magic, he created it. The wonder in the kids eyes when he does a magic trick, that was the magic he created, every thing else was slight of hand. I figured this out yesterday when I sat down and learned how to splice. It took me 2 hours to get to the final step and then it took me an hour to finish it. During the proses  Pete told me that if I didn't  have blisters, I wasn't doing it right. That made me think that to create magic you have to go above and beyond also you have to put some blood, sweat and tears into it. Hard work creates magic, Not some mythical power.

Pool side

I'm sitting next to the pool while Benny swims and I decided to blog. I slept outside last night again. It was colder than the previous night but I still slept fine. It's windy as crap down here, kinda makes everything colder. Now that the week has started there is no one at the pool... Every one is at school... I finished my studying for today and I'm just waiting for the day to start... There's not much to post about so far today but if something comes up ill post about it. See y'all later,

Today's post

I am sooo happy! That stupid seagull has left! I can finally sleep at night!!!! Sike!!! I still can't fall asleep! The bird is gone the kids aren't bothering me! I have no excuse for why I'm so tired in the morning. So I tried something new last night. I crawled out of my hatch with my blanket, 2 pillows, a pair of scrubs, a hat and a sweater and I lyed down in between my hatch and the anchor locker. After 15 minutes I fell asleep... But then some time in the night it rained I woke up to a rain drop to the eye bulb and it hurt! I got over it and scrunched up into a little ball underneath my blanket and fell back asleep. Then I woke up to a scream and a slash.... The boat was no longer tided to the dock and Marcus, who was trying to move the boat back 6 foot by himself to get better Internet had fallen in, he got back up and everything is fine...  See you guys latter

Happy bday dad!!!!!

Make up post!

Sorry for not Logging yesterday. I was too busy with things I had to. If you want to know how I'm doing call me! I'm still in the states.
